- Michelle Thornton Added 2018-04-15★ ★ ★ ★ ★The original home is gone and a new one built in 1967 is there, but the barn is still standing and some of the fields are still clear.
The family of William and Annie King moved here around 1920 and raised their 11 children. Their first home in the area was at the field at the top of Kings Hill that burned down.
They had a maple sugar bush, did logging and worked many fields that are now grown in.
Daniel King would come to live in the home and raise his family of 8 with his wife Grace.
